The exchange rate of LE is announced by each bank or non-bank dealers freely on the basis of demand and supply.

Spot exchange rates for major currencies announced by banks and non-bank dealers and an indicative average for US$ against LE.

The indicative daily average rate for US$ against LE is calculated as a weighted average rate of all transactions, and announced by the Central Chamber for FX Statistics.
