Size :70 X 130 mm.
Front : The central feature is the Mosque of Al-Sayida Aisha printed in blue, with details defined in black. An Islamic design in brown, orange and blue appears behind the Mosque. The colors of the background are green and orange on the left hand side of the Mosque and blue and green on the right hand side thereof. On the right hand side of the Mosque, there are two part circles of duplex patterns printed in light brown, green and blue, between which the Bank's title and the value of the note are printed in dark brown in bold Arabic. Horizontal brown lines run from both the star-shaped pattern which houses the value of the note at the top right hand corner, and the signature of the Governor at the bottom, in the right hand corner of the note. On the left hand side of the note, a geometric pattern formed by parallel brown lines envelopes the watermark.
Back : The back of the note retains much of the character of the previous 25 piastre note issue. The main feature is the Eagle together with the U.A.R. ensign in a circle of geometric pattern surrounded by the drawing of a collection of cotton, maize, and wheat plants. There are two part circles of duplex patterns above and below the emblem. The background is printed in vertical bands of orange, blue, green and orange from left to right.
